Pair of Italian Pottery Vases with Snake-shaped Handles by Molaroni Pesaro 1950s
1.200,00€
Pair of Italian Molaroni Ceramic Vases, circa 1950, a very decorative pair of centrepiece vases with handles in the shape of coiled snakes, dating from mid-20th century, hand crafted by the Ceramica Molaroni manufactory of Pesaro, of eclectic craftsmanship, circular in shape, amphora-shaped, resting on a quadrangular base, decorated in full colour. Both have the same shape but are hand-painted with different motifs and colour tones, skilfully calibrated in a dense floral-themed decoration of Renaissance taste.
They come from a private collection in Milan and are in a good condition with old restorations.
Under the base is the inscription Molaroni Pesaro in black, corresponding to the mid-1900s.
