Seated lady with dog,  an Italian bronze figure dated 1942 and signed by the  sculptur Leonardo Secchi.  Beautiful dark patina, this lost wax casting depicts a woman seated in a chair over an oriental rug while embraces and cuddles her dog. The sculpture is placed over a black veined marble base with minimal chipping. On the back in the border of the rug we find Leonardo Secchi’s signature 42 engraved in cursive letters. In good age related condition, it comes from a private collection of Milan. Listed sizes refet to the figure on marble basement.

The marble base alone measures 2 x 40 x 28.5 cm. The bronze alone measures 34.5 – 34 x 23.2 cm.
