Pair of 1700 Four-Armed Table Candlesticks, gilded wood and iron candle holders of original spiral shaped design, a lovely hand-forged iron frame ending in circular turned giltwood bobeches, gilded in gold-leaf, with an iron cup. They were probably originally grafted onto torchiere, they are very original additions to decorate a dining table or sideboard.
In excellent condition apart from minimal falls to the gilding. Of Italian provenance they date from the early 18th century.
