A large oil on canvas painting a still life of flowers depicting pink roses and yellow mimosas flowers arranged on a garden wall, a free composition of flowers painted with bright colors and a strong chiaroscuro contrast with the dark tree foliage in the background.

Indeed a very good quality painting signed lower right  by the Italian artist Licinio Barzanti (Forlì 1857 – Como 1944),  having an exhibition in London in 1888, Genoa and Florence.

This Italian flowers painting dates back to early decades of 20th century, 1930 circa  and is in good conditions,  set within a modern silvered wooden frame  measuring 90 x 120 cm.
