A charming antique Victorian sterling silver ink stand an elegant desk accessory from a Milanese private collection, with two crystal glass inkwells with hand cut diamond facets and silver lids. The inkstand has a rectangular form and stands on four impressive feral feet.
The sides of the inkwell have ornate pierced designs and a blank cartouche. Made in Sheffield in 1897 by Harry Wright Atkin, active in Matilda Street from 1853.
This Victorian Inkstand has a Full English Hallmark, comes from a private collection of Milan, weighs 1200 grams and is in good condition with no damage. The bottom is engraved with the inscription 888 LD.
