A pretty fully hallmarked Victorian silver Vesta case or match safe with overall floral and leaf engraved decoration with an unengraved shield cartouche to one side, full set of hallmarks for Hilliard & Thomason of Spencer Street, Birmingham and assayed in 1888, with corresponding Victoria’s head mark and date letter to the inside of the cover, 4cms 1.75″ high, 14 gr.
