1.200,00

Italian plaster Moses sculpture inspired by Michelangelo Buonarroti, dating back to the first half of 20th century. A masterpiece of Renaissance art created in the 16th century for the funeral monument of Julius II, preserved in the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome. The figure of the biblical prophet has some minor losses in addition to the right arm and has a warm, dark, grayish patina, probably due to old coloring. Reinforcing irons are visible in the corners of the bottom base. This Italian sculpture comes from a private collection and dates back to the first half of the 1900s.
