Extremely fine  Pair of  17th century Italian Baroque Painted and Carved Wood Angels, in good condition, of

 This exceptional pair of antique, winged putti sculptures were carved in Italy circa 1680. The hand-painted angels figures have their original polychrome and gold leaf finish for a luxurious result. Overall good condition, wear consistent with age and use.

The cherubs are expressive in their movement and facial expressions. The wall hanging sculptures were found in a chapel in Alto Adige a Northern Italian region closed to the Austrian border and would make a charming addition to a living room or bedroom in your home.
