A mid-18th century Italian school oil on canvas religious painting, depicting the Penitent Mary Magdalene with long hair, wearing a red drape, with folded hands and looking upwards, praying seated near a table showing the attribute of the oil vase and the attributes despised after redemption such as earrings and pearl necklace.
Set in a later gilt wood frame dating back to early 20th century, this Italian religious painting is in good age related condition; canvas has been relined with new frame and shows old restorations.
It comes from a Milanese private collection.
