Magnificent antique Empire crystal and gilded brass chandelier, featuring two tiers supporting sixteen arms, dating back to late 18th century,  of Italian origin, coming from a Tuscan private palazzo in Florence.

The hand-made circular structure consists of four circular gilt brass crowns decorated with embossed garlands and beads borders. The brass rings are joined together by crystal chains and pendants. The upper crown is decorated with embossed and gilded iron leaves whereas the larger rings support sixteen curved iron arms, with gilt-wood elements, ending with precious crystal bobeches.

Very good condition, crystal bobeches are later, wear consistent with age and use. Rewired for Italian standard. This super masterpiece of art, born for candles lighting at the end of 1700, thanks to its evergreen and classical design, can be placed in contemporary luxury interiors.

Height of 150 centimeters does not include any chain, size relative to chandelier’s structure only.
