Italian Walnut Dormeuse dating from the mid-19th century. The sofa has a solid walnut frame with a beautiful patina, the front is centered by a carved shell, while the front upright of the side is carved with zoomorphic motifs. It has an unusual shape as it lacks a side back in place of which we find a turned wooden crosspiece. This small triclinium centerpiece settee or dormeuse from the 1800s is small in size and has been fully restored, upholstered and upholstered with a yellow striped cotton fabric as per the attached photographs.
Dating from the mid-1800s, of Italian provenance, it is in good condition.
