18th Century Italian Majolica Riser consisting of a flat circular dish with raised edge, resting on a base with a simple shape. The top has a polychrome decoration, mainly in yellow and blue colors, depicting an Annunciation framed by a drapery of stylized fabrics.
The majolica is in good condition except minimal chips on the edge and small craters due to firing. It dates back to 1700 and comes from Central Italy.
