Large antique carved and golden leaf gilded wooden mirror with antique original dark mercury glass, a whole plate.
The frame is finely carved with bulino and decorated with vegetal and geometrical patterns.
Italian origin, this antique rectangular mirror was hanged in a private residence in Milan downtown, might be hanged both in vertical or horizontal, dates back to mid-19th century.
In overall good condition, wear consistent with use and age, some minor gilding restorations .
It is really uncommon to find such a large whole, unique mercury plate mirror.
