An oil on canvas painting of a rural landscape with a forge and horses animated by blacksmith figures on the foreground. Rustics and architectural elements in the background country landscape.
The work dates back to the first half of 19th century, it is of Flemish origin.
It comes from a private collection in Milan, the wooden frame structure has been reinforced and the original canvas shows some patches; the painting has been cleaned and restored, it is now in excellent condition, within a giltwood modern frame.
