An early 19th century Empire walnut bureau of Italian origin. A cylinder front, opening to reveal an arrangement of small drawers and compartments, below a pull-out writing leaf, a large useful drawer and a knee hole flanked by drawers decorated with fine gilded bronze drawer pulls.
Four column legs decorated with gilded bronze elements, leaning on a shaped footboard. In perfect condition, restored with an excellent quality French polishing.
Measurements are 105 cm h x 108 x 54 deep (+15 cm including pulled-out writing leaf)
