Early 19th century Empire mirror, a solid walnut rectangular frame decorated with a gilt plaster profile, a gilt gesso internal frame decorated with palmette, centered by an original mercury mirror. French origin.
Two lateral holes let us know this item was part of a table tilting mirror, a French Empire table psyche.
Can be hanged in both directions, horizontally too.
Good conditions except two minor gilding losses in the gesso frame.
It comes from a Milanese private palazzo.
