Antique Louis XV Tuscan carved giltwood mirror

A very fine Italian Louis XV giltwood mirror, an obeche wood frame, deeply hand-carved with curving foliage elements, the top with an elaborate finely carved angels head, grotesque decorative motifs such as fantastic female figures on both sides typical of the 1770s and a terrific animal mask in the lower part of the frame.
The whole vigorously carved with scrolls, flowers and leaves.
Mirror is modern, later gold leaf gilding.
It comes from a private Tuscan luxury villa in Florence and dates back to 18th century, 1770 circa. Good condition.
