Late 18th century  Italian Religious Painting depicting the Flight into Egypt with the Holy Family resting on the left,  framed by trees, resting animals, palms, a river and a landscape with pyramids on the background.  The story of the Holy Family fleeing persecution in Bethlehem is transposed to an imaginary oriental landscape, above a river valley bordered by trees, palms and a landscape with pyramids on the background.The canvas measures 77 x 103 cms and it is in good condition within a beautiful Empire  mecca gilded frame.
