A very rare, primitive iron Greyhound dog muzzle, a curious collectible hand-made iron work dating back to mid 19th century, of probably English origin as per the J.C.A. monogram marked on the  flat iron strap collar.

This beautiful ancient muzzle is hand-made realized,  with an openable and adjustable flat iron strap corresponding to the greyhound neck collar. it shows a great patina. In very nice condition, wear consistent with age and use.
