Antique Black Forest Inkwell Dog Carved Walnut Schnauzer Head 1880 Circa

A lovely carved figural Black Forest inkwell in the form of a Dog’s head, with great detail and retaining two large glass eyes. The hinged lid opens to reveal an inner original glass ink bottle. Dating to the late 19th century, of Swiss origin,  it is in excellent condition.
