A stunning Pair of 18th Century Louis Italian XV Chandeliers, two six-armed pricket chandeliers of Italian origin, masterpieces of the Baroque style, commonly known as Louis XV in France, these chandeliers have been created by a skilled craftsman of Lombardy, North Italy.
Made from two altar silvered repoussé copper these pair of chandeliers from the 1700s have been enriched with six curved and foliated wrought iron arms. The copper elements have a fine embossing in the Louis XV style, are silvered with mercury amalgam and have some tin weldings as listed in the photo gallery.
These are exclusive 18th-century chandeliers, unique pieces made by the masterful creative skill of a Lombard craftsman.
The six arms have been wired according to European standards and work with E14 bulbs, for a maximum power of 500 watts. They are in working order and in good condition, and are fitted with a 70 cm long chain with ceiling rosette.
They come from a private residence in Milan.
These 1700s Italian Chandeliers are unique pieces, have an inimitable style, all curves and leafted patterns, with a chasing style inspired to natural patterns, such as seashells, foliage or garlands.
