An Italian Carrara marble relief arched plaque, an early 20th century hand-carved marble Madonna with Child of Renaissance taste. Antique devotional ancona within a frame delimited by two side columns decorated with candelabra and with the upper top decorated by a Della Robbia frame.
The seated Virgin holds the Child with her right hand. Good age related condition, the panel shows minimal cracks in correspondence with the halos and the lower right corner. It is set in a modern repainted frame.
This lovely Italian marble religious relief would look great in any interior. Marble relief only measures 53 cm h by 41 cm w. by 3,5 cm deep.
