20th Century Italian Bronze Inkwell with Bull Heads and Putti Embracing Lion

Early 20th century bronze inkwell resting on a double circular marble base, in black marble and Italian Alpi green marble. The body of the inkwell has a tripod base with taurine legs decorated by alternating masks of putti, grapes and and bulls’ heads.
The cover is surmounted by the figure of an angel embracing a lion. Garlands of flowers and human masks throughout the basement.
The ink glass is missing.
In good condition with a beautiful patina.
