A charming Art Deco hanging hall lantern from France, a circular bronze lantern, great casting, with curved frosted glass, one set in the frame of an opening door.
This bonze artwork shows in the lower profile the French engraved mark LACARRIERE, by the famous Parisien foundry.
This interior lantern is finely decorated both in the upper and lower part by cast bronze scrolling and geometrical motif.
It dates back to the Art Deco period, the early decades of 1900 and is good age related working condition, all original parts, except one replaced frosted curved glass in the opening door frame.
For interior only.
Good condition, the bronze frame has been cleaned and brushed to remove oxide traces.
It comes from the entry of a Liberty Milanese palazzo.
Working wiring with one single Edison 27 light bulb.
Listed height of 92 centimeters is the lantern structure only, but the fixture includes chain and canopy as long as requested.
Period: 1900
