A lovely bronze Cocker Spaniel Dog Figure dated 1942 signed by Italian artist Leonardo Secchi.
This antique casting bronze animalier figure depicts a sweet Cocker Spaniel seated on a black marble rectangular base.
The casting is in excellent condition; one of the two threaded tubes that fixes the sculpture to the base has been replaced, as documented in one of the listed closed-up pictures.
On one side of the base the sculptor’s signature written in cursive Leonardo Secchi and the date 42.
It comes from a Milanese private collection.
