Italian Walnut Library Ladder from the 1800s with four steps, with Baroque Rochetto style turned uprights with a stable and solid structure; comes from a private collection in Milan, featuring recent restorations consistent with the eighteenth-century period, but is overall in good condition with a beautiful patina throughout.

Some supporting elements have been replaced, as documented in the listed  images. This antique bookcase staircase is  realized in walnut except for the first three steps starting from the bottom, which are made of poplar, and the two crosspieces at the back, which are made of chestnut.
