An Italian circular portapalme vase mounted as lamp, an Empire lamp dating back to 1780 circa, standing on square base. Realized in Cembran Pinewood carved with acanthus foliate motiv, gold-leaf gilding and white lacquer, decorated just in the front as most of the altar decorative Italian items.
This unique late 18th century lamp is in good age related condition, wear consistent with age and use. A new, oval shaped lamp-shade, white fabric with a golden lame decoration.
Wired for Italian standards, one Edison 27 light bulb.
