This rare four small stairs have decorative solid  walnut turned structure in the Italian Baroque Rocchetto style. The 17th century Italian walnut piece shows old restorations and a first small step  made in oak, probably replaced in 18th century.  The steps are in good condition and have a rich walnut patina throughout.

The back reveals the  label of a Florentine Antiques Gallery of Ponte Vecchio.

This Italian staircase would make an interesting and practical addition to any study or library!
