Sterling Silver Heart-Shaped Box Hallmarked London 1895-96, the lid box is finely repoussè with a landscape, centered by a standing male figure with a long pipe and hat. The lid opens sideways. The edge is decorated with embossed raceme branches. The back of this antique 19th-century silver box bears a double hallmark, identifying the silversmith WM in London in 1895/96 for 925/000 silver.
The heart-shaped pill box is made of sterling silver, comes from a private collection in Lombardy, and is in good condition, no signs of wear.
