The porcelain centerpiece depicts two lovers, a lady with a rose in her hand, sitting on her lover&#8217;s lap, her back leaning against a tree trunk as he caresses her hair. The porcelain centerpiece is in good condition, the two figures are ly on a circular basement with gilt vegetal detais and the engraved signature Capp\u00e8 for the Italian artist Giuseppe Capp\u00e8 (Cittiglio 1921- Lomagna 2008).<br \/>\nCapp\u00e9 has devoted his life to the creation and realization of porcelain works, which are appreciated all over the world especially in the United States. Part of his works are now in many private collections and museums.Capp\u00e8 is an artist who drew inspiration from the strands of the great Italian Baroque-Alexandrian folk tradition, of which Serpotta&#8217;s (Palermo) stuccoes, Capodimonte productions and Neapolitan mangers are the typical and well-known examples.<br \/>\nCapp\u00e8 combines the Baroque root with the verist and neoclassical folk traditions, combining this with an original commitment to humorous invention.<br \/>\nCapp\u00e8&#8217;s verismo has already made history: it is recognizable and acknowledged;
