A mid-20th century Italian pietra dura inlaid plaque, a Florentine commesso depicting a view of Florence with the Cathedral, Santa Maria del Fiore, in good condition dating in the back 1955.<\/p>\n

This Italian artwork is a mosaic panel, with marquetry technique which uses highly polished, hand-cut colored semiprecious stones,which are inlay-ed with one another to create a gorgeous picture, using the natural colours of the different stones and marbles, see how beautiful is the blue jade used for the sky.
