Antique English chest of drawers, a Victorian mahogany veneer commode, dating back to the late-19th century.<\/p>\n
Five graduated drawers, three large and wide, topped by two smaller upper drawers, it is a strong storage antique cabinet, with a very modern design. Internal drawers made in solid walnut and other secondary woods.
\nTop and each drawer are framed by a fruitwood rectangular inlay featuring a great chromatic contrast.<\/p>\n
This 1870s English Victorian chest of drawers has original bone inlaid turned and ebonized knobs and lovely bone inlaid keyhole escutcheons.
\nSplayed feet, four original locks, one later, this beautiful piece of furniture for its small sizes, it is ideal for a bedroom or to embellish a living room.<\/p>\n

The material is original of the period and thus shows normal signs of age and use, it comes from a private residence of Milan, Italy and it is in very good condition, we have repaired any minor veneer detachments, drawers running and we have polished with shellac with a soft bee wax finish.
