It shows the structures of the eye and is hand-painted, with the eye ball being represented in glass, being a teaching plaster models for students and doctors of medicine,  it can be disassemble. Art of modelling wax for anatomic preparation increased in Bologna during the first half of 1700, in a historical stage when attention was turned to observation and experimental research, and it was alive, in most qualified students, a desire to prefer teaching of scientific subject based on practical demonstration.
