Victorian Mahogany Side Table Tea table 1880 circa
Very elegant Victorian mahogany side table, tea table, 1880 circa. The top is mahogany veneered and shows a frontal carved decoration, the sign of a very good quality piece of furniture at the time.
The top ‘swivels’ and turns over to form a tea table. Very nice turned pedestal below with four ornate carved feet with original porcelain castors. Very typical of the period.
It comes from a private house in Milan downtown and is in good conditions, some veneering and carving losses have been repaired.
This is a very good piece of antique English furniture that would look great in any room.
