This is a Gorgeous Pekinese Puppy Designed and Produced by Dahl Jensen. Measures 3" Tall by 3 1/2" Long. Dahl Jensen Factory Mark on the bottom. Dahl Jensen (1874 - 1960) began his career with Bing and Grondahl in 1897 where he worked for 25 years. In 1925 he started his own factory in Copenhagen, making the porcelain pieces for which he is best known. It is said that his dog and other figurines are the best of Danish Porcelain. His company became a family company and produced porcelains until 1981. After selling off all the remaining stock, the factory closed in 1984.
