Pair of Silver Rimonim Torah Finials Czechoslovakia 1938
A Pair of silver Torah finials Rimonim, the spherical bodies pierced and repoussé with foliage and bouches of flowers décor, surmounted by star of David finials. Circular ribbed pedestal bases with Hebrew dedication around foot rim: 1938 in memory of Enoch son of Pinhas. Silver 800/000 Czechoslovakia duty hallmark.
Missing hanging bells, no dents, good condition.
Height: 31,5 cm, Weight: 865 g. On the base profile the rectangular mark with F.M. initials of the silvermaker and an Orthodox cross on the mountains and number 5 in a triangular field indicating the silver title of 800/000 in Czechoslovakia with a law of 1927 – 1929, ref. Tardy, Paris 1985, p. 399.
