Pair of Italian Circular Crystal Ceiling Fixtures 1950s
A mid-20th-century pair of cut crystal flush mount ceiling fixtures, two timeless circular two-light ceiling fixture, dating back to circa 1950, coming from an extraordinary elegant Como Lake villa, Northern Italy, in perfect condition.
The illuminating elegance of crystal on the ceiling is virtually unmatched by any other material; the majestic brilliant reflections is emphasized by those two internal lights, E27 bulbs, inside a crystal shaped basket consisting of octagonal shaped crystal chains and festoons cascade.
The dome shape displays octagonal cut crystals garlands leading up to the top brass band decorated with crystal chain pendants and prisms.
Classical glass palmettes, leaves arranged in the outer perimeter of the upper round crown. The brass circular structure of each plafonnier has been later nickel-plated.
Rewired per Italian standards.
Two Edison 27 light bulbs.
The pair must be safely packed and hanged within a wooden case for shipping.
