Pair of French Samson Porcelain Octagonal Vases 1800
Pair of French Samson porcelain baluster vases , circa 1870. Two octagonal vases softly decorated by floral pattern, red peach flowers and small flowers in red, blue colors and gold on white ground.
The main body is decorated throughout with polychrome and gilt floral motifs and blue vegetal branches. The top is floral shaped and the neck is surrounded by double red and golden squared geometrical handles. The neck of the vases and the body are joined by a relief profile adorned with eight small golden porcelain pendants.
Good age related condition, wear consistent with age and use; unmarked, they come from an Italian private house of Milan.
