Pair of Berlin KPM Porcelain Perfume Burners 1820 circa
A lovely pair of early 19th century Berlin KPM porcelain perfume burners, two antique oval perfume containers with pierced lids, pine cone finials above oval burner. Painted with naturalistic flowers. Blue sceptre mark, impressed number 5 and 6 dating back to 1820-30. richly decorated in gilt with hand painted panels to the front and rear of Watteau romantic style courting couples in rural scenes.
Hand painted floral decoration to the sides. The covers show a lovely gilt decoration with polychrome flowers and ladybugs.
In used good condition no chips or dents, minor gilding wear and an old restoration near a handle, see picture detail.
