Early 19th Century Jewish Glass Ink pot dating back to the Biedermeier period, of European Austro-Hungarian origin. Circular shape, this clear jacketed glass inkwell has a blue and white layers and is fully decorated with lovely green vegetal patterns, ocher scrolls and fine gold paintings.
The surface shows oval engravings, whereas a star of David is engraved in the bottom.
Brass ink lid, fully hand crafted in good condition.
