George III Solid SIlver Tankard
A decorative George III sterling silver lidded tankard with handle dating back to 1772-73. Beautiful deep chased decoration to the body of flowers, foliage and scrolls. To the front there is a vacant cartouche. Gilt interior. Very good condition, it comes from a private collection of Milan. Hallmarked Newcastle, 1772-73. Silvermaker: John Langlands I .
