Late 19th century French Jardiniere, an exquisite Napoleon III Boulle planter box, serpentine shaped and decorated with engraved brass and tortoise shell inlays on all sides and scrolling gilt cast bronze handles and mounted corner profiles. The structure is in ebonized wood and fitted with the original tin liner. Wear consistent with age and use. Images details show the turtle shell and brass inlays condition.
