19th Century Louis XVI Italian Small Chest of Drawers or Bedside Table
An extremely small Louis XVI cherry chest of drawers coming from Milan Italy. Top, front and sides are all decorated with boxwood and walnut inlaid frames. Just below the top a pull-out writing leaf, three frontal deep drawers, interior lined with paper, shield-shaped escutcheons, working locks and one key.
It stands on four pyramidal legs and it is in overall good condition, it comes from a private villa in Milan and dates back to first half of the 19th century, therefore it shows signs of wear consistent with use and age.
The green fabric on pull-out writing leaf could be replaced with leather.
Unusual small size, could be suitable as bedside table too, less than 70 cm wide by 42 deep.

Antique mid 19th century walnut inlaid round table with central stem and tripod footed base. Very good age related condition. Origin: Central Italy, Marche region. May be used as side table, it measures 76,5 cm H. x 58,5 cms diameter.
