19th Century Venetian Oval Silver Tray
A lovely Italian antique silver tray, an oval shaped tray with a 3 cm tall border going around.
The border has a pierced design and it is hallmarked with Italian marks of Venice relative to the first quarter of 19th century and silver title of 800/000.
Silversmith’s mark missing. Refined and elegant item despite its almost 200 years of age, perfect for a collector of antique silver items.
Good age related condition, shows signes of wear and use, minor scratches and two minor restorations on the border. It comes from a private collection of Milan and it has been treated with a removable varnish against oxidation. Hallmarks are shown in the last photos. Weight: 1525 grams.
Can be used for anything for serving drinks or as centerpiece for holding decanters, glasses or perfume bottles.

An Antique Silver oil and vinegar cruet set, having a Neoclassical style oval stand with hand-pierced and engraved decoration, with ring handle and a frame for two cut crystal cruet bottles with original stoppers . The bottle tops when the bottles are in use can sit into the snake-shaped holders on the side of the central silver stem. It stands on four foliate feet. Hallmarked Brescia, 1812/1872. F.C. silver maker monogram.
