Antique Venetian blown glass chandelier, crafted in Murano Italy in the mid-19th century, realized for candles lighting, before electricity. A timeless Murano antique circular chandelier, a rare Italian opal glass chandelier with an iridescent finish, a whitish-pale blue celestial accents.
With an elegant structure finely decorated with six curved arms ending with upwards corolla shaped bobeiges. A central pillar consisting of three elements is surrounded by many blown glass curved acanthus leaves and pastorali ending with amber flowers, ending in the lower part with a bowl and two final pending elements with amber accents. This charming pendant comes from a private residence in Milan and dates back to the mid-19th century. No wiring.
Decorate a living or a dining room with this Murano glass chandelier; this light fixture features six arms and it is decorated with blown glass acanthus leaves and amber flowers embellished with amber accents and bottom pendant.
Pictures show some very minor, not relevant losses, consistent with age and fragile material so we consider the chandelier in overall good condition.
For a safe shipping, it must be disassembled, packed and crated in a tailor-made wooden box.

A very elegant Italian six-light chandelier, a Venetian timeless clear glass pendant realized using the Rostrato technique presented by Ercole Barovier at The Biennale di Venezia in 1938. This innovative technique aimed to create a luminous effect thanks to the many small cusps on the glass, the hundreds of tips that multiply the magic of light.
Six large glass dropping cups make this antique Italian chandelier very versatile and suitable above any dining table.
Good condition, rewired for Italian standards suitable for six Edison 14 bulbs.
This antique chandelier comes from a Milanese private collection. The six small curved leaves placed between the six arms are not the original ones, they have been replaced, realized by sample in a traditional Venetian furnace. See last listed picture with red arrow.
This Venetian chandelier handmade in Murano Italy, dates back to 1940 and has a new Italian standard working wiring.
For shipping it must be delivered disassembled, with reassembling instructions. Crating is compulsory for a safe packing.

1920’s Venetian Murano smoked blown glass six-light chandelier, an antique Deco blown glass pendant, a timeless fumè chandelier with extremely essential and elegant structure.
The stem that supports the chandelier consists of many sections, different glass elements, a lower bowl holding six curved arms decorated by oval blown glass drops, and six pastorals on the upper part of the structure.
Each glass element is masterfully done and detailed with a fluted motif. The handblown Murano glass is an exquisite rich and warm smoked tone.
Hanged in a private villa of Milan where the original owner had replaced two elements, two bowls, of the original ones, this timeless chandelier dates back to the second decade of 1900 and it is in good age related condition, wear consistent with age and use - see the closed up picture of a small dent on a bowl edge.
The chandelier has been newly rewired as per Italian standard – max 360 watt, 6 E14 light-bulbs. The chandelier' structure only, without chain, measures 51 inches height, by 41,5 diameter.
