19th Century Large Oversize Italian Floor Mirror From an Italian Castle
19th century large oversize Italian mirror with hand-carved and gilt wood frame, featuring partially ivory color painting and mecca details. More than eleven-feet tall, this unique monumental shaped mirror can lean against a wall. It comes from an Italian Castle and it is now located in a private estate in Milan downtown.
Ornate Louis Philippe style hand-carved floral and leaf detail with beaded elements. This antique full-length Italian mirror is reacly decorated with scrolling motifs and a coping with a cartouche and crown deep carving. See picture details flanked by my figure – I am 70 inches /178 cm tall!
Good condition, the frame shows minor losses and painting restorations consistent with age and use.
Must be handled by 4 persons to be moved, a white gloves delivery service is recommended.
