An Italian Cerreto Sannita near Benevento manufacture 18th century. A polychrome Majolica tureen with cover, a green and yellow decoration with leaves, flowers and vegetal motif throughout with a lid topped by a fruit.
Signs of wear, chips and minimal loss of enamel and a not visible minimal felure on the verso of the lid. See listed close up pictures.
This antique Majolica footed tureen comes from a Lombard collection of Milan.
