18th Century Italian Carved Painted Table Lectern,  an antique  spruce wood  bookstand or music stand carved with scrolling motifs and painted in yellow Siena ocher color. Rectangular shape resting on turned feet.

It is in good age related condition, with replacements. The hinges have been replaced and the left back foot is not original. Wear consistent with age and use.

The reading bookstand is adjustable and can tilt. Italian origin, it comes from a private family in Emilia Romagna.
