Ghilli Antiques presents “Mood and Passion in FlowerS Still-life Painting from 17th century onwards”an exhibition that explores the spell of still-life painting of flowers and features approximately40 artworks, a selection of Italian and European artists from 17th century onwards.
The exhibition celebrates four centuries of floral emotions, from the birth of the still-life painting genre to the 20th century. We are proud to show you our collection of 17th century paintings by Elisabetta Marchioni and Laura Bernasconi, other Italian and Spanish artists of this period, and later 19th century artists such as Roosmalen, Elisa Scarampi, Louis Perrey, Jules Ragot, and some 20th century paintings by Vincenzo De Stefani e Maceo Casadei.
